    35s

I have 35 12.5 x 17 Ridge Grapplers on mine. They have been dramatically better than the stock wrangers. Generally no rubbing issues. It does rub against the left side arm bolt if I'm in full lock to the left. But I just avoid that. Full lock right or in reverse does not rub interestingly...

Ram Utility Rail - Additional Hooks, Mounts?

I think they are the same as toyota rails. So anything that mounts to the toyota rails should work for the ram rails too. It's essentially just a C channel.

    Bigger fuel tank options?

Ah. Makes sense. Curious did you guys get a full tank of gas when you bought your trucks (if new?). My dealer only put in $40 worth. :)

What is this for? A jack point?

Old highway patrol once told me in all his years of accidents it always came down to the lug nut rule. The one with the most always wins. Power Wagon has 8, Lexus 5 maybe? Glad there were no fatalities.

What is this for? A jack point?

OK I have a crazy idea for these. I would like to invent some type of trail brush trimmers. Like 6' long hedge trimmers that mount vertical to the front sides of the truck. So that when I'm going down a jeep trail, the trimmers hedge clip the brush back another foot on each side for my power...

What is this for? A jack point?

Hmm, just googled it and you are right. They are so we don't monster truck over other cars. Interesting.

    Bigger fuel tank options?

https://www.transferflow.com/shop/product/0800109420 That says it is for gas or diesel. 80 gallons. That would be 500+ pounds of weight and about $300 to fill up. :) And I'd lose 2ft of bed space. But I kind of like the idea of a aux pump so I can fill the truck or other toys if needed. hmm...

What is this for? A jack point?

Well being in So Cal I think the only use for a snow plow for me would be this... :)

    Bigger fuel tank options?

I'm no expert, but I thought Gas works in Diesel stuff but not the other way around?

What is this for? A jack point?

Front Bumper by JDA-PW2018 posted Aug 28, 2018 at 9:07 AM Anyone know what this is for? It's bolted on to the bumper supports I think? It is a jack point? Anyone remove these?

    Bigger fuel tank options?

Love my '18 power wagon. It's a tank and gets tank like MPG. That in of itself doesn't bother me. But with a 31 gal tank @10mpg, that's ~300 miles range. Not an issue when there is a gas station all around, but on long trips off-roading, where it can get down to 3mpg, I do get some range...

ECO mode on PW, me no like

I don't do a lot of freeway driving. So I only see the ECO come on when decelerating or holding a speed down hill. If it is helping @10mpg avg I'd hate to know what it's like without it?

Cool. I was wondering the same thing. Assumed it was for some cover or something.

Rigid Lights - no more dark trails

I took the plate off above the parking brake. Didn’t cut it yet. Just zip tiered the switches in that space. They almost fill it all in and you can’t see it from the passenger side. I may leave as is for a while. I can post a pic next week.

    Paint protection ideas?

That pic was from the trail. 90% of that is just dirt. I think a few made it into the clear coat. I’ll repost next week when I clean it.

Rigid Lights - no more dark trails

Rigid lights by JDA-PW2018 posted Aug 27, 2018 at 9:24 AM We like to do a lot of forest roads in the so cal mountains. Often we end up heading in past sunset. Sock lights are horrible for trials. I installed these Rigid lights and they light it up perfectly. I can post links if interested...

    White Knuckle Rock Sliders

White Knuckle Rock silders by JDA-PW2018 posted Aug 27, 2018 at 9:24 AM Got my sliders. Heavy dudy version. They weigh a ton and bolt on. Did self install. Took all day. Not hard, just lots of tight spaces. If you are going to do it, here is my advise. Passenger side was easier. Start with...

Tires - 35's on Stock Rims

Nitto Ridge Grappler Tread by JDA-PW2018 posted Aug 27, 2018 at 9:24 AM Update: been out multiple times now. Hill climb, forest roads, desert tails. Tires are awesome. Very happy with them. 35” are perfect size for this truck I think. I am getting some rubbing on the control arm with the tires...

    Paint protection ideas?

Ouchy by JDA-PW2018 posted Aug 27, 2018 at 9:07 AM Anyone have any ideas on how to protect the paint from trail brush? Would that clear wrap xpel? stuff work or would it just cut and rip off? We do lots of fire road back country trials in so cal. Most are “Jeep” width. The power wagon is...

Tires - 35's on Stock Rims

Unfortunately that was my experience. Had right front pierced by a sharp triangle rock about the size of a quarter between the treads. Another small hold in the left rear "side wall" (crown area that hits when you air down), and tons of chips, cuts, and tears of the big treads on all 4 after...

Tires - 35's on Stock Rims

I had a hard time finding this info. So for anyone who like the stock 2017+ rims, and wants to go bigger, 35x12.5x17 fits. I put on Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Haven't noticed any rubbing. I think maybe in reverse once turning fully one way, but it was barely if at all. Did not notice any rubbing...

    Time to replace the duratracs

Very true. My truck has only 1700 miles on it. Few weeks ago was in the desert, next day started losing a few pounds of pressure in the rear driver side (sidewall puncture). Next weekend was just doing forest roads in So Cal, picked up a small sharp rock right between the tread blocks. Instant...

DIY Hi-Lift & Recovery Board Bed Rail Mount for ~$26

***UPDATE*** After a few off road trips one of the 3/8 bolts on the rail with the heavy side of the jack snapped. I changed it to the 1/2" bolt and Superstrut nuts for the the rail mounts only. The rest is still 3/8. No issues since. Been off road a few times. 1/2" is much stronger.
