I had a hard time finding this info. So for anyone who like the stock 2017+ rims, and wants to go bigger, 35x12.5x17 fits. I put on Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Haven't noticed any rubbing. I think maybe in reverse once turning fully one way, but it was barely if at all. Did not notice any rubbing off roading.

To me this is the size it should have come stock.

Also maybe just my perception, but these Nitto's perform much better on and off road that the Goodyear. After one month on the Goodyear going off road every weekend, I had two flats, and chunks ripped out of the tread. They seem very soft and fragile for some reason. The Nitto's so far seem dramatically better. The Ridge Grapplers are also quieter than the Goodyear.

I stayed with the DuraTracs! Had great luck with them on my Tacoma!

Hope the bigger, heavier truck doesn’t beat them up! They are an incredible snow tire for an AT!

I love these factory wheels! I’d like to find one more so I can rotate 5 tires!

Yes, 35s should’ve been the factory size!!!

Looks good. I agree...those Goodyears are junk.

Those Nittos look good. When it comes time to replace my BFG's I should check them out when I start shopping.

I just had these Kumho MT’s put on my truck today!

35x12.5R20

All I have is a 3” leveling kit in the front and the tires are on the stock 20” wheels and I have absolutely no rubbing not even at full lock in reverse. Many other forum members said you needed 1/4” spacers. I bought them and the installer said I didn’t need them at all and he was right!

Will a factory wheel with they 35x12.50 fit in the spare tire cavity?

Unfortunately that was my experience. Had right front pierced by a sharp triangle rock about the size of a quarter between the treads. Another small hold in the left rear "side wall" (crown area that hits when you air down), and tons of chips, cuts, and tears of the big treads on all 4 after climbing a massive lose rock hill. The truck made it easily, but the tires spun a little on the way up with both lockers locked. Maybe you're right and they are a good tire, but this truck is just too heavy for them.

1500 and a 2500 are not even the same thing so what you experience isn't going to be what the 2500 guys experience. :(

To the OP - good luck with the Nittos. They are a great soft tire! I barely got 30K out of mine on my 2500. Rotated every 3-5K miles. They are a great tire, but man are they soft.
Love the looks of them! I love the flat thread pattern these tires have. You get more contact on the ground.

I researched the light truck tire's durability when I was shopping for my new tires for my PW. There are plenty of triple ply carcass tires and tire carcasses made with Kevlar available from different manufacturers which helps prevents against rock punctures.

Any performance hit when going from 33" to 35"? I would like to upsize but I tow heavy every now and then and don't want to lose any acceleration or braking ability.

I dont feel like their is any loss in power with my 35s. Truck rides better and handles better with 35s imo

View media item 26165Update: been out multiple times now. Hill climb, forest roads, desert tails. Tires are awesome. Very happy with them. 35” are perfect size for this truck I think.

I am getting some rubbing on the control arm with the tires at 45 psi in full lock turning. Don’t recall that when they were at 60psi.

Wondering if a spacer would fix that issue?

Got into a tight spot on a trail yesterday. Had to turn around. Wife spotted as I backed up off trail for 3 point turn. She was amazed how the tires crushed everything like a monster truck. ;)

Now I just need to solve for paint protection.

It's broken in now. Hopefully you can buff those out.

back from 4 hours of running local logging roads, 1 flat changed out to the spare, the next morning getting ready to head off to work both of my rear tires were flat. The roads weren't that bad for a logging road. duratracs are out as soon as i can get it into the shop.

On my fathers powerwagon we didnt feel any loss from stock to 35's that we could really feel. Now when he jumped to 37's we felt that immediately.
