I know right , like they finally made the hood functional , if no one comes up with anything here , might have to go to the dealer and ask

Surprised this is the first I've seen of it . Do you need the Mopar cai? Or does it work with the stock box ? Just more questions lol

It says the cai is required and it's sold separately. So just the new piece for the hood to make it function is 254 plus the price of the cai.

I call ********.. the "vents" on the sport hood are solid pieces of plastic moulded to look like honeycomb. Total appearance, zero function. So I don't know where this duct is pulling air from but it ain't from those hood vents.

My last truck had a real SRT10 hood on it and I did notice a slight benefit in engine temps.. i refused to buy a truck with the sport hood because it's face. Why don't I just go down to Canadian Tire and pick up a couple of those stick on fender vents too.

From the way it looks, it appears to make at least one (maybe both) of the vents functional and routes them to the MOPAR CAI.

I can see it working well and would like to see what's under the liner in the picture. It would be low profile and Vararam like except mounted to the sport hood itself.

I'm interested. Post up pics! Perhaps a group buy is in order.

Very nice, so I'm guessing you have to alter the liner yourself during install?

In addition, are there now two different MOPAR CAIs, one for the hood vent and one without?

Cai you need is 77070023ac
I have a v6 so I don't think they make this specifically for my truck, but I'm thinking some slight modifications will work.

First I have to find someone wanting to trade a granite crystal sport hood because they prefer the regular hood in the St. Louis area!

Thanks for the info though.

I was thinking about getting this but it appears at a cost of over $600 it only supplies the functionality from one vent, crap @ 1/2 that cost theres the vararam.Hate 1/2 *** stuff & twice the price.
