Non-MDS heads on MDS disabled 5.7 engine
I am planning to use RAM 3500 non-MDS heads on my 2014 5.7 engine. I will use non-MDS lifters, plugs and cam. And do a PCM tune to delete the MDS. Question: I don’t follow why there is a difference in the heads, the oil passages for MDS are located only in the block only, not? Is there any...- Rufi

I recently put a BRAND NEW 5.7L Hemi in my 2014. Coming from MOPAR it has the MDS system in it and I can't break into the engine because that will void the lifetime warranty through MOPAR. I have a Edge CTS3 tuner on it that can disable the MDS system, will this cause issues?- Mordanger
