    Had the truck for a year or 2 but front end started popping while turning the wheel been busy so put it off engine blew last year got it replaced and they ziptied everything instead of wiring correctly looked like a crackhead was under it but now i fixed all that but damn all bushings ball...

    Do you need to keep front axle in to keep wheel bearing together?

    My wheel bearing fell apart the day after I took my front end apart, I had blown the front end and removed the guts including the axles. I re assembled the truck and the next day wheel bearing is gone, so I put a new bearing & hub assembly on and less than a km down the road same thing...

    wonderful front u-joints....

    Have to wonder if it is just me or how common it is to have to replace the front u-joint every one to two years? Fortunate enough to have purchased the lifetime warrantied u-joints but it is still a pain to have to change them that often. Just wondering if there could be another problem I am not...
