I wonder if there's a big difference between the 89 tune and 93 tune. The best I can run is 89 tune without cutting my 90 premium fuel that's offered up here with something higher. Might get me lower than mid 5s if there's much difference.

I want to be in the 4s range. That's my goal for this truck. That and in the 12s 1/4 mile.

I was well on my way to high 3's
when my trans decided it didn't want to play that game anymore
... that was just over 2 years ago.



10 RCSB 4x4 3.55 gears, 4WD launch
Ripp Supercharger 9 psi boost, dual nozzle Water/**** kit
JBA shorty headers, Magnaflow CatBack, 3000 stall TC
Ground Force 2/4 drop, 305/50R20 Grapplers

Even a custom built trans (twice) didn't help so I retired from the Drag Strip
Blower removed, water/**** disconnected, ...but it still runs 5 seconds flat N/A

I haven't decided to build up my spare trans and re-install the blower,
or if I should just sell it and throw the smart money on a dedicated track car (ScatPak) and a trailer.

But it IS a bolt-on truck LOL! all stock internals, other than larger injectors
Every mod installed was bolted on with basic hand tools on my drive way.
including transmission swaps ....4 times !













at least I finally have a garage now,
its amazing how much money you can save when not wasting it on the truck for a couple years.

My track bud (MGRAM) and I did 4 swaps on mine,
2 on his Ripp'd Ram and we had it down to about 5 hours from start to finish.


He traded his 10' Ram in for a 10' Camaro SS with a 6 speed manual
its freaky fast and will be ready for boost soon, currently on the "bottle", Headers, Exhaust and a wicked cam...

One of the first things I did when I bought my new 15 2500HD, 6.4 w/ 4.10 rear end a few months ago was turn to youtube for reviews n such.

'The Fast Lane Truck', which is based out of Colorado as I recall, ran high 9's and 10's. This pissed me off greatly. I don't own any of the fancy Gtek stuff but I did use a cell phone and a Pro Timer (yes it's for shooting guns) and came up with 8.86 and 8.91 on my first run, and 8.84 and 8.90 on the second. This is with 89 in the tank. I should mention I live @ sea level.
Anyways my best friend has a '14 2500HD 5.7 w/ 3.92 rear end. We lined up one day and floored it. I beat him to 60 by a full truck length and 100 by more than 2. That was with the pedal in both trucks mashed. Needless to say he is still seething at me. Another friend is convinced my truck shouldnt be as fast as it is stock. As to that I'm not sure, but I know I love it!

I promised my bud a rematch soon and we will record it.

I think I can get in the 9's... maybe a low 9 if I got a headwind behind me, maybe a hill or at least a slight grade to go down..... a nice sunny happy day won't hurt either..... right song on the radio... there are just too many factors... I'm just gonna stick with my original 'in the 9's'.

Still Practicing only got to do 2 runs yesterday. I pretty much have the heaviest version of the 14 ram truck and only 3:21 gears . My fastest of the 2 yesterday was 5.78

Do either of you have the crew cab? 5'7" box was thinking you may Buddy and Hemi you said you have one of the heaviest versions so guessing that's crew cab? Someone was asking about crew cab times.
