Finally got out to the track and did some runs
Qcsb 4x4 3.92 hemi stock. Almost full tank of gas and a buddy in the truck. Tonneau cover, heavy 22s et cetra i realise there is lots of weight savings to be had.
Was pretty chilly when i got there round 10:30
According to drag times it was 48.2 f 76% humidity and 30.29 inches of mercury for a grand DA of -777 feet at 10pm
Humidity was rising and temp was dropping as it got later.
First run was my best for some reason. Bad reaction time but fastest time (15.79) and mph (84.51) of the three runs i did. This run was done in 4auto because i wasnt sure what kind of traction i would have. Didnt seem to hear or feel it engage at all.
Second run went to 2wd because it seemed to have no problem. Didnt warm up the tires either. Launched ok but chirped damn near 3/4 of the way down the track. At first i was like wtf is that noise oh im losing traction haha. It made a difference. I was half a mph and a .2 slower. Lost to a shiny new f150 with a 5 litre i guess
Third run warmed up the tires pretty good and it chirped much less going down the track, but i got solidly beat by a not stock foxbody mustang haha
