Mario, it takes time and money to get all the bits and pieces together. Plus you have to experiment to see what works best on your specific truck.

Ryan by chance do you have a pic of the slicks on the truck? We set a set beside mine the other day while we were scratching our heads. 2WD im gonna need em, if I use my 4x4 then I can leave it in that but its not coming out after the lauch like it used to because im making more across the board.

That I don't, they are 28x10x17s though so they don't look to bad on her ( tires right now are 31" tall). They are in my cousins garage up north right now though, cooler temp and more room for indoor storage, should get them back once we can start running again when it cools down.

Have you thrown a set of traction bars on her yet?

Ken you could run my really short rollers.... They would give you something like 4:56 for a gear.

thought they started falling off once you hit 4th. I know I'm well into 3rd at the end of my 1/4 and its still pulling strong, once it hits 4th though it starts falling in its face.

Ryan, [email protected] with a bad launch.
1.9 60'
I have stayed in 3rd, through the traps.

I think she's good for 13.5 if I could drive her.
The top 1/4 speed has been 99.8mph with an exceptially bad launch.

The truck is ready I just need to settle down, I really suck driving...

Nice! That's a very respectable time even with a bad launch.

Greg you dont suck at driving, I was glad we got you RT time down as quick as we did. Ol red ran a few #s quicker after you changed up psi to. Its close, very close to what your shooting for.

Ryan no on the bars. Im torn on which way to go on launching which I will be playing with coming up. If I can get the 4x4 to work to my advantage I will like the diesel guys do is what im shooting for.

Ken thanks for the encouragement I appreciate your continuing support.
IMO, 4x4 and street trucks require a little different setup when it comes to traction control equipment. 4x4's typically want to maintain their ground clearance were as street trucks it isn't as important. From what I have seen the SRT10 traction bars would be great for the 4x4's. It is basically the O/L spring with a rubber snubber mounted in the front section where it flairs a little. I think Stu had a pair of them he was testing. I would also weld a cross plate on the rear section of the O/L spring and mount a square U bolt that could be adjusted for travel/clamping. I think this would make a simple effective method to control spring wrap.
