I want to install http://www.autoanything.com/air-intakes/airaid-modular-intake-tube?kc=AFFCJ&PID=3952425&AID=10375065 for my 13, because they are no after market intakes out there. I plan on installing that tube to bypass the air resonator air box and increase power.

My question is, is there any differance between first gen 4.7 and second gen 4.7, as far as connections? or is it just MAP air temp i think?

If not im going to rock that intake and just swap out the tube for box for either warranty or smog.

I've thought about getting an s&b for the 3rd gen trucks on mine. Throttle body is in the same location. TB diameter may be different.

F it? haha put it on and see if it works if not sell it to forum or ebay....

I was reading online, on rams the giant air filter are usless, the proformance comes from the resonator delete. As long as you have a high flow air filter, (K&N 33-2247 i think it is) which is a drop in, youll get the same out come as a $3-500 set.

Are you intrested in doing this, ill do it and keep you posted

Any smooth tube setup would be better than the air hat. Lol. I have a drop in K&N now. But I doubt you're going to feel much of a difference without a tuner. I say go for it

Did you end up getting the MIT? I want to do that and mate it to my AFE stage 1 intake.

This is what I ended up doing today instead of buying the MIT:
