02 2500, three honks when unlock is pressed

My 02 2500 w/factory security just started honking three times when I unlock it. Anyone have any clue how to reset or fix this? My neighbors aren’t fans at 3:30am…
I saw an old “three honk unlock” thread, but there was no follow up or resolution info from OP.
-a source to find an owners manual, or pic of pertinent pages would be outstanding too!

TAMPER ALERT The VTSS tamper alert feature will sound the horn three times upon disarming, if the alarm was triggered and has since timed-out (about fifteen minutes). This feature alerts the vehicle operator that the VTSS alarm was activated while the vehicle was unattended.

Thanks. Interesting, because it’s done it when I know for sure the alarm hasn’t been triggered between locking and unlocking with fob.

Forgot to update- I just cut and taped the horn lead after the central timer module. I’ve got no alarm horn of course, but the horn still functions through the steering wheel fine.
