I guess its time for a build thread.

Last week I hit 2 years with my toy. I am currently sitting at 12,600 miles on her. She's come a long way!

At the dealer:









Before I picked it up I had them remove the bug shield and the steps.

and the best reason to get a crew! lots of room!

I told the wife I wasn't going to mod this one. Just the "basics". You know, tonneau, steps, HIDs........right...........she actually believed me?

Debadged within the first week, then......I ordered a Mufflex a few days later, installed it with less than 500 miles on the truck.

Then I ordered my Bakflip. Gotta have the flip.

Then I went for a ride at night........couldn't take the halogens. Put in HIDs:









Oddly enough, the "scatter" isn't horrible in the 4th gen quad lights. Obviously not as good as what I have now, but nowhere near as bad as my 08.

Then.......on to the tunes. I swapped out the stock radio for another stocker. That didn't last long. On to an Alpine setup, Foxbox to replace the crappy OEM sub.

Grew tired of the Mufflex.......sold it and got a cutout.

Got a bakbox for her right before Christmas:







During Christmas 2010 "vacation" I installed a Viper 5701 alarm / remote start.

got some tow mirrors at some point, I can't remember the date! LOL Same on the Chally shifter.........I can't remember when I got that!

Got mufflex 5" tips too......around Christmas 2011 I think.

Here's how she sat a year ago, at age 1:















Around July 2011 I got a nice itch.........wanted to REALLY change up the look on the outside.........so, first step - stripes!

Then..........some OEM fender flares:



Then.......it was REALLY on. :********:

Did all of these at the same time:

• Custom Painted / LED'd / Projector'd Headlights, fogs were also custom painted (shrouds) and projector'd!
• Tint (20 on fronts, 5 on brow)
• Custom Stripes
• Sonar LED Tails
• Color matched grill, cross hairs and badge painted to match the stripes and headlights
• 2011 Ram rear badge - painted to match heads and stripe

In February........time for some new tunes. In went the new radio, a Kenwood DDX319



End of February........it was time to get some new meat.

Whats next?

Well.........I have a few more mods here already.



That will be pushing a new CVX sub (here already too).

My LED tails are with the painter (for a while) and LED third. Gotta get him on those! I want 'em back NOW! (he's been a bit busy.......lol)

And......my body lift. Going on VERY soon! 1.25 RCX lift headed her way!

Now, to think.........whats next?

I think those ********* mirrors could use a little custom JJ paint scheme on em. Leave the base black and then paint the lower part of the mirror silver and then paint the top part that folds up that grey color you used on the grill. Idk just an idea
