I have a set of 03 Ram 1500 rims that I would like to mount on my 98 2X2 Ram 1500. The rear went on great, but it appears that the front wont mount over the front hub. The center bore is too small. What size spacers, or adapters do I need to purchase to make them work. I understand that my 98 is hubcentric, and the 03 wheels are lugcentric. You assistance would be greatly appreciated.

03 Wheel info:
Number of Bolts: 5 Offset: 25.4mm
Manufacturer Part Number: ALY02164U10 Rim Diameter: 17
Bolt Pattern: 5x5.5 Rim Material: Alloy
Rim Structure: One Piece Rim Brand: Factory, OEM

You have it a little backwards...your 98 is lugcentric and your 03 wheels are hubcentric...you have 2 options...

1) get a grinder and grind down the hubcentric ring in the hub bore of the 03 wheels, then grind down the hubs a tab on your 98...

OR

2.) you will prob have to get a set of 2" spacers or so for them to fit withough altering the hub and hub bore of the wheels.

I have these same wheels sitting in my garage I was going to put on my '00. Guess I'm glad I never did! You should be able to take the wheel to a machine shop and get that center opened up to whatever size you need.

Just makes sure you do all 4 so you can rotate you tires on down the line.

I'm sure you can get spacers to make this go away, but it ruins the point of running a nice stock wheel (IMO) which is keeping the wheel IN the wheel well, not sticking out all stupid.
