Last night the truck died 4 times on the way home. Three times it started right back and one time I had to crank it for awhile (10+ seconds) before it started.

Got in it today and it started immediately then died, started back, then died. Had to crank it again for an extended amount of time for it to start back. Drove it around the block and it was fine, drove it to the bank and it died 3 times. Last time it died, I cranked it for about 5 minutes ( not continuosly) before it wouild start and stay running. Got it home and let it run in the driveway. It died twice but started right back. Let it run for 20+ minutes with no problem.

I am leaning towards a fuel delivery problem but I am fairly certain I could be wrong. When the key is first turned on, I can hear the fuel pump running. I thought maybe it was a semi clogged fuel filter but I can not find an external one on it.

One time not too long ago, I was filling the truck with gas and left it running. Half way through it died and had to crank it for 10+ seconds to get it started. Since that, I have thought my fuel pump might be going bad.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help!

Had you just recently put gas in it? I agree it sounds like a fuel or fuel delivery issue. Thinking maybe bad gas? Or maybe the fuel pump. Have you tried a fuel system/injector cleaner? Getting any check engine lights?

It has been a few days since I had put gas in it. I am not getting a check engine light at all. I am thinking I will start by cleaning the throttle body and maybe the egr valve.

I put a new set of spark plugs in it and cleaned the throttle body. It still had the original plugs in it and there was nearly no electrode left on any of them. I guess 122,000 miles is the max you can go on a set of plugs. I drove the truck for almost an hour and it never acted up at all. Only problem is it threw a intake air temp code but that had to be from starting it with the air box off of it and the sensor unplugged. For now, I will drive it and see what happens.
