06 2500 Front Bumper swap 4th Gen 2500

Hi All,

I have a 06 2500 CTD, and was wanting to know if anyone has tried or swaped a Ranch Hand front bumper and grill guard from a 4th gen? I have been told that it will fit, but I am not sure how much trouble it would be. If anyone knows if it will fit, please let me know.

Well if you look at how a stock 4th gen bumper looks on a 3rd gen, it really doesn’t fit well at all, I mean your taking a bumper from a completely different truck, and the ranch hand bumper would have similar issues.

If you already have a 4th gen bumper it looks like the conversion brackets are pretty cheap, $100ish, but I would definitely not go out and buy a 4th gen bumper. Im not opposed to different bumpers on trucks, but that’s one that I do not believe would work well.
