06 headlights

Has anyone done anything cool with the 06 headlights that have the running lights on the bottom. Mainly I'm talking about the running lights lol

I taped mine off and smoke sprayed the lower running light part before I bought black headlights.. Gave it a different look

I have seen them taken apart and painted the amber strip...it's been awhile and not sure what site I saw it on...or what color. Maybe used the strip to attach led"s?
