08 5.7 Hemi head gasket question

So I'm thinking about replacing both head gaskets on my 08 5.7 1500, the question I have bc I saw on a few videos is some have had to redo the timing, and others have not. Which is it?

If you are just doing head gaskets you dont have to touch the timing chain if its a 5.7 on a 4.7 engine you would because its overhead cams. Also howcome you are thinking about replacing the head gaskets do you have coolant in oil?

No coolant in the oil, it has 284000 miles on it and getting oil in the spark plug cylinder.

Oil in the spark plug cylinder is valve cover gasket set. It comes with new spark plug well gaskets.

Like mentioned above that would be valve cover gaskets not that hard to change.
