Always been a little Dakota guy but because of a new business I bought a 2014 Ram Outdoorsman diesel last spring...great truck besides some goofy stuff...

The Firestone TransForce ATs that came on the truck.....are CRAP! 15000 miles and the ones on the rear look to only have maybe 5000 miles left on them...they are now on the front...Don't even want to discuss the TPS system...
So I am going to replace the tires soon... Wanna go with 35s and a 2" leveling kit. Been doing research on here and other places and have found lots of great information regarding backspacing etc... but I still cant answer my questions...
Has anyone put 35s on the stock 18" rims with a 2" leveling kit? I really just want to fill the wheel wells without it sticking out more than an inch from sides of truck..

Also being new to diesels... I've noticed on cold mornings (today 5 degrees) during the preheat I get a message that says low coolant for a couple seconds... This has happened twice....normal?

Any suggested additives for this cold weather? we are just about to get into our cold season..

You are lucky you got that many miles out of them. I'm at 4500 miles and my rear tires are halfway worn. Today or Friday I will have the tires rotated so I can hopefully make it until next fall but I'm not holding my breath. You already have 33.2" tires so I see no reason why you can't step up to 35's even without a leveling kit. I will be going up to a 295/70r18 when I get new tires which is a 34" tire and I don't plan on leveling just yet.

Yeah guess I could just get the 35s and see if they rub before putting on the leveling kit.. Main thing with the leveling kit was to eliminate the muscle car stance.... Probably but bags on the bag the level out with a heavy load....

My 2014 3500 drw tires are wearing normal but the outside of both front tires are wearing bad 1/2 thread wore down. Ram tells me nothing they can do its normal. What??? no way 17k I have a recall on a frt. end bracket weld that could cause this i think. Any commit would help. my first ram, diesel & DRW, its also 4x4.

The track bar bracket would not cause that. Take it somewhere and have an alignment done and see if everything is within spec, also start rotating your tires more often.

My factory tire are the same.... 12k miles and they are 3/4 worn almost to the wear bars.... Only a 2500 or 3500 you don't need to level to run 35s
