1500 outdoorsman

Been looking for a new truck for months and found one on a dealer lot I can get a hell of a deal on. It's a 14 outdoorsman monotone all white (chrome bumpers) with black wheels 3.92's lsd navigation heated seats steering wheel front and rear sensors etc pretty loaded for that trim. I've never seen many and am having a hard time finding some pics on here using search. My only problem is I wanted a sport because I like the sports but that's all I've ever had....2005 rumble bee (sport) 2008 quad cab sport and my current 2012 quad can sport. But change is good sometimes

White is a great color. If you don't like the chrome you could always get it powder coated to match

Is that what you did man? That is actually a great idea for the truck I'm looking at.....where did you get it done? Locally?

I painted them myself. I don't think it would cost more than $500-700 to have the front and rear done. What dealer did you find that one at?

Fx in watertown....same place i always buy from found a great salesman there. Always gives a few thousand more for trades and knocks more off the price of the truck then even other sales people at the same dealer. I do shop around everytime but never find a better deal.

I'd be giving up leather, cooled seats, sunroof and sport hood but gaining 3.92's, lsd, 8 speed, nav, tow mirrors, steps, white paint, front parking sensors. Hmmmm...... I know with some mods this truck would look amazing

Actually my buddy powdercoats and has an oven big enough id have to find a place to get the chrome stripped/blasted

i wasn't a huge fan of the black at first but it grew on me. i really hate chrome and there's very little of it on my truck, just the door handles and all the badges so that's a big part of why i bought it. i do wish it had a longer bed but the price was right and it had all the other options i wanted

only bad thing i can really say about it is that the factory 20 inch rims come with passenger tires. they are wearing very fast because they are a crap tire and partly because there's really more weight on them there there should be. being in Canada tires are stupid expensive so as much as i want to i can't justify replacing them till they are wore out. the ground clearance from the 20s is very nice tho

I almost walked off a lot with the same truck you're describing mbarclay. I love the outdoorsman myself. You can buy good quality prepainted bumpers on eBay too for pretty cheap. I bought one for my 05 from a seller named mbiauto and it was perfect!

Yes, its a wrap. Dealer had it done along with the after market wheels and tires and a 2 inch lift. I just couldn't say no even though I'm advertising for them.

I've been shopping for some hoop steps. I like the N-fab with bed access, just not sure if that's what I'm gonna buy yet. Still have to get a bed cover and bull bar if I can find one that doesn't interfere with the parking sensors.
