19 Tradesman 2500 Led ?

Been doing a lot of reading about Led upgrades for my headlights and really none of them touch on whether I have a reflective headlight or projection. I am a newbie as you can tell and trying to learn as much as I can. Just want a brighter headlight bulb for low beam and it seems Led is the way to go.

Is there a set that you can just replace the bulb that I already have to Led and be done with it. Plug and play is what I am looking for.

Being a tradesman you more than likely have a reflector headlight rather than a projector unless you or a previous owner upgraded with OEM or aftermarket. Post a picture of your headlight and I can tell you whether its projector or reflector.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here but, If you have a reflector headlight, you probably want to avoid LED lighting since the LED bulbs do not put out light in all directions like a reflector requires so you would have to upgrade to LED specific projectors before using LED bulbs. Upgrading to projectors can be costly if you want a high quality light output as you options are premium aftermarket complete units like alpharex, or else you do your own DIY projector retrofit or you buy new OEM led units and try to swap- all of those options will cost well over $1K.
If you want to keep your reflectors and just get better light output than the halogen bulbs provide, I would suggest an HID kit which will drastically improve your light output and keep you in the <$300 range

I just upgraded to LED and I have reflective lenses. I can tell it’s not supposed to be in there but it’s still better than the best halogens. I upgraded low/high/fog.
