Cereal box gaskets were very common in the farming community years ago. My dad always had a couple of the big old Corn Flakes boxes on hand for making gaskets,Truck has been totally disassembled.
Started taking apart one of my axles to find a destroyed pinion, lucky for me I have another axle that should be in better shape.
Good thing I have that puller. These are tapered fit...lol..

If you're keeping the original engine, she's not gonna be a real speed demon,so that suspension will be more then enough,i foresee maybe 50 mph downhill with a tailwindIm running 1955 GMC Monoleafs in the back for 4" of drop
Running Ford 1945 front Monoleafs for 3" of drop
My Airlift 5000s off my truck will go in the rear of the 53
Just regular shocks up front as mounting airbags to that tractor axle would be a major PITA.
Well this is good enough for a 110Hp truck
They also want 3-6 thou of backlash im at 2 thou so im calling that good as well. This way I have nothing but the factory shims. no ******* around with the thin ones in the kit.
Normally, I'd say it will open up a bit as everything learns its new home. Not so sure 110hp will do it though haha!
Pattern looks great IMO. Loving the pics of the build, please keep it coming!
