OMFG, I was told finding an actual International Visor was next to impossible.

Not sure why I got so lucky, and this part out truck popped up on Marketplace this morning!

we settled on 300$, last one I saw on Ebay hit 1200$ Kenuckistan Shekels.

Sent this random internet dude a 50$ deposit... lol... wish me luck

the cleaning begins, waiting on 12v coil to start it. So far Rad is good, Horn works , and gas tank is in perfect shape. Even still had coolant in the block.

Driving up to Saskatoon Sunday to pick up another truck

Hoping to pull the engine on Monday

So now I'm building a slammed dually.

I have some pretty cool news. The R-120s owners son singed my registration. And I'm now the 3rd owner of that truck.

Also got my 2nd truck taken apart today

Let the cleaning begin, Im starting with the carb ! Got the rebuild kit on the way !

Bought myself an Ultrasonic cleaner  and found some aircraft grade simple green. didnt even know they made it... lol...

Machine shop sais custom .030 over pistons are in order, Ends up cheaper than ordering them from the US.

You need a sandblaster more then most guys, lol. I'd hunt up an ethanol compatiable needle for the carb if you plan on driving it much. Curious on how that Simple Green works as a carb cleaner,i've only ever used the old carb gunk remover for soaking/cleaning a carb, never tried an industrial grade simple green.Make sure you get some close up photo's of the carb after the vibrating wash cycle for us :waytogo:

I had a Craftsman Sand Blaster that had 2 wheels
I set the bed of my 1956 Chevy p.u. as the box.
plywood sides & plexiglass top.

used to sand blast smaller parts with it, then i found a DIY sand blasting place & sold mine to a guy that sand blasts Art on to glass & plastic

Mine looked similar to this

Just saw these had to order them. lol.

Good thing my headlight buckets are 7" shouldn't be to much work to get them to fit.

And now I have turn signals for the inspection.
