An old trick to add life to a bushing is heat it up in the oven to 350 or 375,then throw them in a bucket of oil to quench them.My Dad always used 50 weight, but even a 30 weight oil works good for oil impreganting themSpent today figuring out my door hindges, was able to match up the springs , and found bushings.
Tommorow should be pretty easy now that I have my master plan![]()
To bad my 3/8 reamer won't be here until Tuesday for aligning those bushings.

What's the final purpose of the truck,is it going to be basically a street/highway truck,or a bush buggy. This is interesting
Cummins guys sure love these Eaton Swaps. I mean Dodge cant build anything thats reliable... LBH...
I shouldn't need this, as Im sure I have enough room for the Divorced T-case setup. But if I dont its nice to see someone already designed one.

Well rolling coal all day is a great reason
Just curious as feeding fuel to a 4X4 5 ton with a 466,isn't going to be cheap, lolPurpose zero to noneWell rolling coal all day is a great reason
I just want a bad ass diesel truck that has zero electronics at this point. Couple months of research later, it always boils down to the 6BT or the DT360 / DT466 in the Ford and Dodge forums. The reason I picked the IH Diesel is they are sleeved. and way way way ******* cheaper to rebuild compare to a 6BT. And the Eaton 6 speed can be found in IH trucks. So no need for a 2000$ adapter from 6bt to Eaton.
But im still building a flat deck, So I can toss the jeep on it when I go camping. Ill be selling my 10 RK Jayco RV after this season. And will upgrade a a slightly bigger one like the 16RK.
