Plenty of room now , everything is at my buddies place:evillol:.

Putting the sh!tbox on the lift today, it's been a year already and it's time for it's oil change and making sure nothing is broken.

After that it's the Jeep for its annual maintenance, I might just change the filter as the Redline oil only has 1500km ... LoL. after that it's my wife's 2018 RAV4 annual and after that it's the Daughters 2019 RAV4 hybrid , it needs all the fluids done.

Yes I told the daughter that I didn't want her to buy a hybrid, she replied with " I'll just buy you more new specialty tools if you need to fix it" . :headbang: that's a pretty good deal if you ask me.

I need a new hobby at this point to get my mind of wrenching :dogpile: or come out of retirement and get a job again.

Look what I found in the scrap pile :headbang: ;) :evillol:

This rear air ride on my F550 frame is the exact amount of zero Phucks given one must have to build rat rods.

That Neway suspension was good in its day. Beat the heck out of Hendrickson short leaf suspension. I remember the first one I saw on a truck. A red International 4070A, down in the Texas valley area in 1976.

I asked the driver about it, then we talked a while about trucking. Truck drivers would talk to each other in those days......

Just started to price out the 6 bushings :doublepuke: im looking at 800ish Cdn to get them here. :sad72:

And I got to build a tool to press them in .
Freeze the bushings and heat the hell out of the hole, and you should be able to pound them in.

Sawzall or torch and cut a notch in the outer shell, pretty common way to remove bearings/bushings.
If you're good with a torch you can notch the shell with-out hurting the cage it sits in,if your torch skills aren't that good a sawzall with a good quality blade is a good substitute

I didn't want to damage those sleves and pins in my last picture. Its like 200$ for a new set .

The fact my press broke shows me I built it wrong. So it will get upgraded now. :evillol:

Sawzall a semi truck bushing, WTF are you smoking it's 7" of 1/4 harden steel for the axle pivot point.... LoL...

Like I said I torched it out first, finding the weak spot in my press design was just a bonus! :headbang:

This is the new one , all cut on the plasma ;) spend 400 to save 200 best guy math ever.

You need to learn to use a torch then,if you don't have the patience for a sawzall :Big Laugh: :Big Laugh: :Big Laugh: Hell it's pretty common to cut them out with a torch, bushings have been replaced at -40 on the side of the road:Big Laugh:
Even if you're a bit shaky with a torch and do cut a small notch in the housing,it's not gonna hurt a damn thing,as the housing only holds the bushing, quit being a chicken $h!t :Big Laugh:
