Looks like an old Moose,lolI got the Cab stripped today, pretty stoked the floor is still solid.
My buddy got a new toy, will pull the cab with it to try it out.

If it's a 56,does it still have the old flathead 6 in it,the later ones usually had a Ford 300 in them.They were indestructiable. Spent more then a few hours on the back of them in my younger days,don't think my back could take it anymore though,as they were back breakers,lol
They were built in Vancouver,and were fairly common in western CanadaNever seen anything quite like that moose thing. I think I need one lol

Where did you get the cylinder from Ian,and roughly how much travel does it have,and what's it's weight limit.1st piece of the project complete
