I have a 2013 RCSB express with the McGaughys 2/4 drop kit with spindles in the front. I have noticed several members here have turned there 2/4 drop kits into 3/5. How can I complete this?

most of them cut 1/2 coil off in the front and full coil off the rear. but instead i would start with doing 1/4 off the front anf 1/2 in the rear so that you dont cut too much off and have to buy new coils. just my opinion.

I wouldn't cut the spring... that's what we call the Mexican drop.

Just get a properly engineered kit.

There's no "properly engineered" 3/5 kit.

Call me Mexican.

So here's a legit question: Got a '12 Ram QCRB Express with the Belltech 2/4 drop wanting to turn it to the 3/5 drop, what my question would be is wouldn't the geometry of the rear suspension be affected BEYOND the track bar relocator bracket by cutting a 1/2 coil or more??? I know it wouldn't be much, but I'm considering going lower and just don't want to do another $80 alignment just for 1/4"...

For a 5" drop in the rear you'll likely need the adjustable Spohn track bar in order to center the axle.

i took my belltech 2/4 and cut 1/2 coil from front and 1.5 coils in the rear. It finally settled to a 3/5.5 drop and is level. The belltech track bar relocator has my rear end almost perfect center. Could still use the adjustable track bar and the adjustable link bars as the rearend is sitting 3/8 forward.

Looks good and rides good.
