I have a 2015 crew cab, which I want to lower 2/4. However, I want to put a lift assist, so I don't bottom out with carrying heavy load.

Any recommendations....

Ive got the airlift 1000# 60824, it pretty much got rid of my bottoming out issues after lowering 2-4. Cant comment on loads though, dont carry heavy or use a trailer

Thanks.

I will check air lift.

Some of heavy load would be stuff purchased at home Depot for home repair. Not a daily thing.

Yeah, they work good, make sure to leave enough slack in the line for movement, i had a clamp come loose. Would probably get some 1/4 inch air hose clamps i could tighten if i did it again. I ran the lines and valves out the trailer hitch holes and used some washers to fill the gap.

How do you put a hitch receiver in now? Don’t the hoses run in the hitch?

I can't drive a trailer to save my life so it's a non issue, but if i did need to i would just undo the nuts and washers that hold the line in place and zip tie somewhere safe.

Drill out your top licence plate bolts,it's only plastic behind them, and run your lines to them.I mounted my lines there, and with black caps on the valves, unless you're looking, they're virtually invisible.Plus they're up and out of the way a bit more, not so likely to get snagged and ripped out
