Hey everyone,

I know there are lots of posts regarding leveling but I am planning on leveling my '12 1500 2wd soon and wanted to see what everyone's thoughts were on going with a 2" or 2.5". I have researched like crazy (probably over researched) and I cannot decide which size to go with. I would like it to sit pretty much dead level and i am not a big fan when the front sits higher than the rear. I've also read that 2.5" can cause some axle issues. I wanted to see if anybody here has leveled their truck w/ 2 or 2.5" levels ad has pics. Thoughts?

I don't know what the height is like in a 2wd. Just measure and see what you need. I dont think you will have axle issues. There are none in the front.

It is just under 2.5 inches of rake. I am not sure if the 2.5" spacer is dead on or if they typically lift the truck slightly higher or not to quite the full 2.5". I don't want it to sit higher but if it sits .25" higher upfront I don't think that will be noticeable but I could be wrong on that.

Ya on my 09 I had spacers. I picked up some pro comp es9000's 0-3" lift for the front. Rode great after that. I did all 4 since I had a lot of miles and they were cheap. $40/each.
