20" 4th gen rims on 3rd gen - hub problem

I bought 20" dodge ram rims & they don't fit the center hub.

Is this a common problem?

do I need to grind out the center or????

ok so I took my drill & carbide burr bit & they fit now.
Also cleaned & waxed the rims.

I put black marker on to see what hits
