My niece was given a 200 Dakota with the 5.9. The guy that gave it to her said he had went thru 4 fuel pumps in about 2 years. He parked the truck about 5 years ago after the latest pump went out. I suspect he was using crappy fuel pumps (Airtex), but, not sure if anything else would cause them to go out so often. Any suggestions?
