2000 to 2016

I may be a ***** la la here but I have to share this. Feel free to laugh. I know I would.

I had a 2000 Ram 1500, at stock height. She was beautiful. Then the insurance company totaled her. Stupid hit n run. ********.

Anyhow, I now have a 2016 Ram 1500, with the 20" wheels, stock height as well. Now the ***** la la part.... I despise parking garages now! I feel like the new truck is slightly higher and that I'm about to scrape the crap out of my roof on the beams in garages. My stomach literally jumps in my throat each time.

I feel better now that this has been shared. I doubt it'll will help with my garage anxiety. Hope y'all enjoyed the laugh.

Don't laugh but I had the same fear.

Then I measured and realized I woulda scraped it in the work parking garage.

I stopped at the height bar at the entrance and felt the distance between my roof and bar. I cleared by the width of a spread hand. The next step is the logical one and measure my truck. I'm glad I'm not the only one with the fear.

the truck in my signature is at stock hight. it fits in parking garages.... its tight but it will fit. you are fine.

My wife was just laughing at me last weekend when I was scared driving in a parking garage. I feel your pain.

Yep, I still cringe every time I go into a parking garage. That and just parking it in general. It's so hard to judge anything over the hood.

Same here with parking garages. One at my doctors office is too low, so have to park down the street and walk. Might have to change doctors, I hate walking

That's exactly the case. If the antenna clears, so will the roof.

I took delivery of my new truck on the 15th of this month. I find myself parking miles away from anything to keep rude, disrespectful jerks from door dinging and scratches. I'm still in the new phase.
