I've searched the web, YouTube, and on here and can't come up with a procedure to adjust or check the adjustment of the auto trans shifter/shift cable for my 2001 Ram 1500 4WD. Any help? Ultimately I want to check the park/neutral safety switch because the back up lights only work when I play with the shifter. I want to rule out an improperly adjusted shift cable before switch replacement.
