We bought a used fifth wheel last spring and its been a good buy up until I did a ninety degree turn and partly ripped the wires out of the male trailer wiring plug at the bumper. However, when I unplugged it there was an arc and a loud click that came from the truck. I then found I had no voltage at the black wire in the trucks female trailer plug, two fuses blew in the trucks fuse block and my aftermarket electronic brake controller only turns up to three volts. This truck has a factory tow package. Where in the truck is if any is the charging relay for the trailer batteries? I'm pretty sure I damaged that brake controller during the short circuit. Would like to find a free wire schematic to this trailer tow system.
