Hello All - New to this Forum. My uncle passed away leaving a Black 2001 Ram 1500 Offroad with 17K miles to my aunt. She does not feel comfortable driving it, so trying to get an idea of value and how to sell it. Never seen salt but has some fading due to the Florida sun. Any ideas of what is a reasonable price and best way to sell it?

One way to determine fair value is to go online and look for similar trucks for sale, then monitor those listings and see what they actually sell for. Listing prices and selling prices can be very different. The fact that it’s a Florida truck will be a big plus for it.

You can go to Kelly Blue Book for one valuation. I did a rough estimate, not knowing much about it, and looks like maybe around $8k in a private sale, around $6k for trade in. But don't use these as final numbers, do your own entry as well as the suggestion above. Good luck.
