I have been looking for a while...like all day, and haven't really found an answer for my exact rig....

I have a 2006 RAM 1500 Sport 2WD. I will need new tires this year and would like get the biggest tires possible w/o a lift...

Should I get a leveling kit? I believe it will allow me to get 35s? or 32s? it seems to be hard to find info on the 2WDs....or if someone has had better luck with something else? idk...

Any ideas?

With a level you may be able to fit 35s. Might be some rubbing though. 32s for sure since stock tires are 33s. Daystar and HBS are pretty popular around here for leveling kits. You may try Bilstein 5100s up front. They're adjustable up to 2.8" i believe.

Good luck with your research.
Its indeed hard to find info for lifting a 2WD.
From what I found, I was gonna go for the Rough Coutry 3" suspension kit; which levels it out and gives you about 1" lift. You would definitely be able to fit 35s at that point I think.

Not sure if theres a huge difference, but i am 4wd leveled and running 35s. They rub slightly at full turn, but other then that no problems.

BTW DodgeGirl, I love how your truck sits.
Thats exactly what Im looking for mine, expect that I have a 2WD.
Its gonna be tricky to find the right lift to get the same result as yours. Thats why I was gonna go with 3" suspension lift.
