2006-2008 headlights

I have noticed that some rams these years have an amber strip on the bottom of the headlights. what option is this? certain years? 1500,2500,3500? I can't find the common denominator. maybe its like the 2019s they seem to have 3 or 4 different headlights.

The 2006s all came stock with the amber strip. The red truck is an 06 and blue truck is an 08.

Easiest way to tell the difference in the 3 years is 06 had the amber strip in the headlights and the older taillights. 07 had no amber strip headlights and updated taillights. 08 they redid the door badging ("RAM" instead of "RAM 1500")

Any way to tell between 07and 08 2500/3500? My 08had no amber strip, updated tails, and says ram 2500 heavy duty on the badging
