Hi all.
I own a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 crew cab SLT with the 4.7. When I set my cruise control on the expressway it works fine except for the fact that it waits until I am a full 5-6 mph under the set speed to downshift. It's incredibly annoying. I set my cruise in say 75 mph and I spend most of my trip actually driving 71-72 mph.
Is this normal? If so is there anything that can be reprogrammed to change it?
