2007 1500 4.7l tipm

Anyone know if the TIPM for a 2007 5.7l is compatible with the 4.7l?

What year is the 4.7? If at all possible you need to get part numbers off of both. For 2007 there are two possibilities, which by sales code seems to matter by 2wd or 4wd.

Ah ok, same year then. Like I said, seems to vary by 2wd or 4wd. Here is a screenshot from the 07 parts book.



DH5 = electric shift on the fly part time transfer case
DH8 = electric shift on demand transfer case

The confusing thing here upon closer inspection is the fact that both part numbers are listed for lines 1 & 6, which are light duty 2wd and light duty 4wd. Best bet if you can't see part numbers is to have a dealer run the VIN and see which one was packaged with the truck. Regardless, TIPM will need to be flashed for the specific vehicle.
