2007 navigation system

I just bought a 2007 Laramie with the six disc CD/nav radio. Can someone tell me how to program the nav system? My truckdidnt come with the book for the nav system.
I also have to pull out on the volume knob to change the volume or as I turn it to increase the volume it will increase a little bit and then decrease, same thing happens when trying to decrease the volume. Anyone else have this problem?

My 2007 had the REC/NAV system in it too.

When you say "program" are you talking about route preferences, destinations, points of interest, etc????

You may or may not need the navigation DVD. It resides behind a small black plastic cover right under the main display. They are available on eBay.
