Hi Everyone,
New here, and can't seem to find anything that actually addresses a problem I'm having. My '07 QC passenger door lock actuator was messed up when I bought this truck (used), so bought an actuator off of ebay (maybe the problem now, I don't know). Anyway, had it changed out and all was fine until I had to come to a very sudden stop on the freeway. Upon doing so, my door ajar light and bell came on. After that, it dings whenever I take off from a stop/slow speed, and also intermittently while driving. Also, it initially locked correctly at around 15 mph and unlocked when I turned everything off and opened the driver's door. Now it locks when put into drive and unlocks when put into park. It's as if my sudden stop tripped something. Could it be that I got a faulty actuator? Probably should've known to go with Rock Auto or something.
Anyone have a similar issue? Thanks for any help!
