Hello everyone,
I have a '04 durango with a blown motor. The piston put a hole in the block. It's harder than I thought it was going to be to track down a motor. I came across a 2007 5.7 hemi from a ram for at least 2 times less the amount of money. I know the difference between the 2004 durango and 2004 ram 5.7s is a matter of an EGR block off plate. How would I go about swapping the 2007 into my 2004 durango? Could I just put my 04 head and intake onto the 2007 block and be good to go?
