Good Afternoon All,
We have a 2008 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins and are having issues. Back in November we had the transmission rebuilt and new transfer case put in. Over the last 6 months while driving the dash will light up with the P R N D lights light up with boxes around them with the number 8. It is slowly been getting worse after checking batteries, cables, changing sensors. We did get the codes from it yesterday. The codes are the following, P2509, P2299, U0101 and P144E. When I have searched it online, it seems to be pointing toward the TIPM having issues.
Has any one has these issues? Replaced the TIPM and fixed it? Does the TIPM need programmed to the VIN on the truck. I am seeing many different answers online so I thought I would come here.
