i am looking and putting a rough country 6in lift with 22x12 and 35s on my truck, but was wondering if anyone else has this setup, want to know if it will fit in my garage. my truck right now has a 2.5in daystar leveling kit and 275/60r20 tires, the top of the truck currently sits at about 77in to the top of the antenna on the roof, and my garage is 81.5in to the weather strip. i also wont be reusing the leveling kit

Set something 6" tall on top of your truck and pull in and out of the garage. If it knocks over, it won't fit

i was thinking of doing that but i already have a leveling kit on so maybe just put something that is like 3 or 4in tall and test it?

Even if it does lift it 4 inches in to if the 77in that leaves you with a .5in gap. If you get snow where you live it your driveway is at an angle it isn't going to fit. My RC lift actually lifted it closer to 7in after everything settled

Also don’t forget the increase in height from getting 35s

Throwing the tires alone on your truck will probably have it sitting at around 77.75”

That gives you 3.75” of height you can add before you’re the same height as your door.

And if it was me I’d like to keep at least a half inch buffer between a vehicle and my door. Meaning I wouldn’t add much more than 3” of suspension lift if I wanted it to fit in that garage. A 6” lift with 35s will make it an outside dog at that point.

Some of it will have to do with the slope of your driveway into your garage. Also depends on which satellite antenna. I have a 6" Zone lift, bils at 2.8, 35's and cab lights. Somehow it still slides in under my 7' door by a c hair.

^^^^^^this

It just depends. I have a 6" Procomp and I don't fit. I have a slight slope right to the garage and I think that is why.

I like to have a few feet above my truck. Because if I only had half an inch I couldn't work on it. When I built my garage I got 12ft doors and 20ft ceilings lol

Right but the wood wasn’t sitting on your trucks highest point and a 6” loft with bils is gonna be more than 5” lift on the front of our trucks...

For instance my truck with a 6” lift and the bils set only to .70” coupled with the bigger tires sits exactly 7” higher

That satellite antenna on top is gonna eat a couple of this inches up and you’re likely back to the 3” of current clearance that you can use up before you bump the top of the door opening...

I don’t know how important parking in the garage is to you but adding the 6” lift with 35” tires is going to make sure it’s an outside truck using your door opening height

One day I’ll be there

Not sure I’ll go as high as 12/20 but I’ll build a garage the truck can get into and up on a lift...

Any pics of yours?

I can get some I got a steel building and built on to it. I have 1 lift and 6 lifts to just house the old cars in the air so I can park another under it. I used a barn on my farm (100'x225' don't know the height) but it collapsed.
