Hello all,
I was looking for some recommendations, I’m in the process of up-sizing my tires on my 2018 ram 1500 and trying to decide which route to go. Currently have 270/60R20’s and am going to upgrade them to 275/65R20 Nitto trail grapplers
I don’t really wanna put spacers on, so the main thought is going with a 4 inch lift from either BDS or Rough Country, but I’m curious if I could get away with level spacers or some raised bilsteins?

5100s for pavement princesses, 6112s for Off-roaders
BDS is a solid choice :anitoof: and dont forget the Core 4x4 UCAs if you want to actually align the truck properly.

I am running 275/65/20s on my truck

I went with a 2" strut preload spacer on the fronts (the strut spacer that compresses the spring, not just lengthens the assembly) and an extra 1/2" lift with a strut shim.

In the back I have a 1.5" lift

Overall super happy with my setup. Had my shocks been worn I would have done something else. When they eventually blow I might change my mind.

For example:

When I bought my truck used in 2018, the previous owner had 275/65/20 tires on there with no lift. I put a 4” Readylift SST lift on the truck and upsized the tires to 295/65/20. I think the 295s fill out the wheel well a lot better than the 275s on a 4” lift without looking stuffed. Just my opinion

To best answer your question, how do you use your RAM? Any towing/hauling, off roading( if so what terrains and speeds)

Definitely stay away from ROUGH country and spacers.

Send me a message and we can discuss options and pricing. We have helped many members here with their suspension setups
