2011 hemi headers

ok guys do they make a set of bolt in headers for my 11 1500 hemi? are they worth it? ive done some work on vehicles but never done headers so how hard is it? all tips appreciated!

Best headers hand down are ARH long tubes. The problem is they are the most expensive. Well worth the money though. They are bolt on. You can buy them(or other types of headers) from Matt at Moe's Performance. He is a vendor on this site.

Ummm... ARH, SW, and JBA all make long tube "bolt-in" solutions which include a y-pipe that bolt into the factory exhaust.

ARH LT's were simple to install and come with everything needed to do it.. Toughest part is the damn oil dipstick.

Now on the 2011 4X4, is there an issue with long tubes clearance ?


I'm starting to think about long tubes, if it's not too involved. I have Hemi Fever tunes for life, cai, and 4.10s already. Headers would be a nice compliment to what I have.

Be careful with the LT headers though if you're in a state that requires you to pass an emissions test during inspection. I believe even relocating the cat in any location other then where the stock cats were would cause you to fail inspection.

You can get high flow cats from both arh and sw. Jba still doesn't offer there y-pipe setup with cats

I am running ARH longtubes with no cats and passed my inspection 2 weeks ago. Hemifever has my rear o2 sensors disabled, and the inspection shop I use could care less about the visual inspection as long as the computer says you are clear.

Running with high flow cats should not be an issue unless you live in CA or any state that is trying to adapt their strict laws on vehicles.

I have gone back to the stock muffler with an exhaust cutout just behind the Y-pipe. I do not like loud exhausts, so I keep it quiet on the street, and have the cutout for the track. I started off with the Magnaflow catback, then went to a 24" Magnaflow with the stock tailpipes and resonators, and both were just too loud for me. Now with the stock muffler, it still does not sound stock, but it is quiet enough to keep me and the family happy.

Same exact thing with me. I tried a FM Delta 50, 24" magnaflow (the cat-back system) and felt both were too much. Plan on selling my maggy system and getting an electric cutout. Already put the stock exhaust back on.

Was lookin at lpn tubes as well... I have the mag a flow 16869 cat back and it's not too bad for me just enough but not obnoxious. Where can you order the electric cutouts and what do you recommend?

My truck rattles windows in my house on cold startup

I like it that way though, a loud definitive bark, it settle out once warmed. It does help that I back it into my rear driveway and it echos off the garage and house (concrete). Im sure my neighbors don't like it much, but I don't like their Toyotas so were even.
