Hey guys I am looking forward to adding a supercharger to my hemi, but I must say that I have little to no knowledge of what upgrades i'm going to need if I do. Some of my main questions are:

1: Do i need to get forged internals?
2: Will i need to upgrade the stock fuel pump etc.
3: How will my engine react, will it be too hard on the stock engine?
4: What are the best kits nowadays for the 2013 bighorn models?

You will for sure need a tuner for it. Your engine is already at a high compression, adding boost will make it knock badly. High octane fuel, and retarded timing will help. Probably best with new pistons with lower compression.

Op don't worry, your ram can be supercharged but it's the next component to fail that will get you. Like transmission rear end etc.

Questions, assuming you have a 5.7 hemi

What transmission do you have 6 or 8 speed in your 2013. How many miles on your engine? Have you experienced cam and lifter failure, ever?

The good news is, with a 2013, your engine computer is unlocked and can accept a tune if you go there.

As to kits. We'll there is a few. But let's get basics down before jumping into the issue

PS, my 2014 is supercharged and has held up for 80k. With limited issues.
