2011 power lock question

I was wondering if the tailgate is supposed to lock as part of the power lock option package, because if so, mine is broke.

On my 14 you are able to change the setting in the evic , not sure if yours is the same.

I don't think that was an option in 2011, my Sport didn't have it. But I did add the Mopar kit afterwards, not sure if it's still available but there are other kits as well

Foolproof way is to take off the inner tailgate panel and see if the actuator is on the latch.

My 2010 has the all secure option enabled and locks the tail gate with the doors from the fob. It was on the factory build sheet, wondered what it was till i looked it up. Not sure what.you might need to do to make it work on yours

2009 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT did not have a powered lock
It also did not come with a tailgate camera, but i had the dealership order one for a 2009 Laramie.
