Does anyone know if I can access the fuel pump by lifting the bed on a 2011 1500 4dr with the short 5.4" bed? Or is the fuel pump tucked under the cab and not the bed?

If I'm not mistaken it is inside the fuel tank and it may be easier to just drop the tank.

Thanks for the reply. I think dropping the tank will be my only option. I know it's inside the tank, I just don't know if the top of the fuel pump opening is under the bed or under the cab.

Thanks. Saw that one and it looks like his truck is the short bed version but his tank is larger. Looking at the take once he has it off, it appears that with the filler hose being where it is, the place that the fuel pump is would be under the cab unfortunately.

Just for reference, the larger tank is a plug and play mod for our trucks too so I'd imagine the major components are near the same locations too.
