2012 OEM Steering wheel control and backup camera conversion to aftermarket head unit

I have a 2012 1500 Laramie with the uconnect touchscreen radio. I’m looking to replace the radio with an aftermarket one with apple car play but I would like to keep my oem backup camera and steering wheel controls but I can’t find one straight forward solution on how to do it or what install kits I need to buy. Has anyone done this? Or can someone tell me what I need to get?

Go to Crutchfield and enter all your info. It will spit out the harness you need. This is the one I used for the wifes jeep.

Retained all steering wheel controls. Pretty sure Alpine has the adapter to keep your factory Backup cam

Check Amazon for cheaper Chinese versions. Trust me it’s better with tons of apps like on your phone and sterling wheel with backup camera works without any additional changes

Usually you got 1 year warranty like mine qled, but you could purchase additional 2 years for 30$. All these radios had poor installation instructions, but you will know what to do.

It’s up to u, but trust me these aftermarket Chinese from Amazon works like a dream. I’ve using mine since 3 months. Nn]o issues so far, and Amazon is amazing you could return everything
