I replaced the factory uconnect touchscreen on my 2012 as it no longer allowed me to operate the touchscreen. The aftermarket one I picked up on Amazon has been working great so far, has Android auto and the backup camera connected, I just can't seem to get the steering wheel controls for the audio or the factory backseat Alpine sub hooked up to it to work properly. Any suggestions?

The sub is powered by a factory amp. Question, does the fade and balance work properly (all speakers playing music)? Typically, the steering wheel buttons not working would point to a missing option in a menu or the need for different firmware on a CANBUS module. Does the HVAC respond appropriately to on screen commands?
