I had three codes pop up P0734 incorrect 4th gear and P0735 incorrect 5th gear and also P0933 Hydraulic Pressure/Performance. I changed out two sensors (cheapest fix first) and the hydraulic code went away. My trucks down shift from 6/5/4 down to 3rd feels harsh and then goes on limp mode and stays stuck on 3rd. Ive taken my truck to three different shops and they all give me different answers. So my question is, Will this trans need a rebuild? or Is this caused by something electrical? Some tell me its the clutch disk others tell me its the sensors I already replaced and the other tells me it might be the solenoid pack. Any help is appreciated.

Hard to say which one thing exactly is the culprit but you've ruled out the sensors.

I hate to guess but it seems the majority of the issues I read about with these codes are related to the solenoids.

How many miles on your transmission?

I just hit 47500 miles. I guess that might be my next step is to change that.

Drop the pan and see what the fluid looks like, if it’s metallic then its likely internal failure. The solenoid pack is a common failure, however incorrect gear ratio errors like you’re getting are most commonly caused by internal failure.

Looks like i'm going to have to do that sometime within these next couple of weeks. I'm just going to park it for a bit just so I don't do anymore damage than there already is.
